I had hundreds of CDs I haven't listened to since I was in High school. This CD player is just what I needed, I'm reliving the good days...I haven't stopped listening to my CDs since I got this. Wish you could plug it in and keep listening, battery life is not bad, several hours of play. I ordered extra batteries for it so not much of a big deal. This is awesome if you have old CDs laying around.
I received the CoolGeek CD Player after about a month of delivery time. The packaging was excellent, and the product arrived in perfect condition. The main reasons I chose this CD player were its attractive design and the opportunity to make better use of my existing CD collection again. Installation was very straightforward. For easier handling of the outer cover, I attached the pull tab from the remote control’s battery protection strip to the cover. This makes it much easier to pull the cover out of the frame. My biggest concern was the Bluetooth pairing, but it worked flawlessly with both a Bluetooth speaker and my Denon AVR. In fact, my Denon receiver even switches on automatically when I start playing a CD, which is a very nice feature. Overall, I’m very happy with my choice. The only additional feature I would like to see would be LED backlighting as a design element. Apart from that, there’s really nothing else I would change. Highly recommended!
It's a great concept and design. Unfortunately, the functionality is very confusing. The product seems lost, struggling to decide whether it wants to be portable, a display frame, a music player, or a Bluetooth device. It seems like a product designed to make you fall in love with CDs again, but instead, it just reminds you exactly why people stopped using them. This product is more expensive than my Panasonic mini audio system that supports a CD player, Stereo Speakers, FM radio, USB input, App control, and EQ. Yet, it lacks any kind of App integration. And the remote control is super ugly. The biggest drawback of this product is the BATTERY. The moment I saw it, I just wanted a refund. Instead of AA or AAA batteries, it uses a massive 18650 battery. Which looks super ugly and completely ruins the aesthetics. You can't even use a standard battery charger, and the included charger is USB-A (Duh). The whole concept is bizarre. It would have been far more useful if they had just ditched the battery and charger altogether and included a USB-C port instead. That way, you could have more options, keep it plugged in as a desktop device, and when going portable, you could just hook it up to a power bank or a computer etc. Because of this ugly battery, the product completely loses its edge. Plus, you have to recharge it every 8 hours. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent CD player. I guess next version could be much better than this.
This product is simply just marvellous! I’m having a great time being able to play all my CD’s after having them in storage for so long. The sound quality is also superb coming out of my Bluetooth speaker. The customer service has also been excellent. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Worth every penny!

It's easy to set up with my Fosi amp and the sound is really great even with MP3s. Looks so cools and goes really well in our house. If I had to be critical at all I'd say the remote could do with having another metre or two of range and a top volume of 30 could be higher but my amp sorts that out. All and all such great value for money and I will be buying more for my Brother and Father in law.

After being drlivered it was assembled and playing music in less than five minutes. Connected to my Porsche Bluetooth speaker straight away and we were listening to music. Looked great on its stand alone pins on our vintage table but we decided looked even better on the wall. Only one thing needs to be changed and that is the front cover needs either a shaped top sticking out of the frame or as we have done a small tape tab to lift it up out of the frame so no finger marks on front

The Cool Geek M1 Music Frame CD Player is an incredible piece of kit for the price. I’m playing mine through a vintage NAD 3130 amp from the late 80’s, a pair of Kef Q7 speakers and Bluetooth connectivity is via the 1mii B06 Bluetooth transmitter. I’ve bought the Cool Geek M1 to replace my Sony CDP XB930 cd player which died. I’m not saying the Cool Geek is better than the XB930 but it is definitely its equal, especially when you consider an equivalent price in today’s money would be towards the £500 mark to replace the XB930. I’m more than happy with the Cool Geek. The only negative I can come up with is that it’s only available in black or white. I would love to see it available in some natural wood finishes.

Decided to start collecting vinyl and cds as streaming just doesn’t have the same effect. Really pleased with the cd player.
Looks great - sounds great too. Good value as well.
It's a very cool player, and very happy with it.. But 2 things to improve. 1. Make a slit or hole in the clear back plate, for the 3.5mm jack cord, so you don't have to have it going under the front plate. 2. Make som kind of tab, to hold the front plate up, while you are changing disk. But as said. very cool, and plays well.
